Tahini and Honey Biscuits

Base ingredients

– 1/2 cup sesame seeds
– 1 1/2 cups almond meal
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
– 1/2 tsp cardamom, ground
– 1/2 tsp ginger, ground
– 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/3 cup tahini, hulled
– 1/3 cup honey, or maple syrup
– 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

Tahini and Honey Biscuits

  • Preheat oven to 180oC.
  • In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients, then mix the wet into the dry.
  • Roll into walnut-sized balls then place on a greased baking tray.
  • Using a fork gently press down on the balls to flatten slightly.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack.
