Jamu – Blend the turmeric and ginger with 1/2 cup of the water.
- Add the lemon juice and peppercorns (if using), then blend again.
- Pour into a pot then add the rest of the water. Stir to combine.
- Simmer gently for 10 mins.
- Cool slightly, then stir in the honey. Strain. Bottle.
- Keep in the fridge for months. Or, pour your Jamu into large ice cubes and pull out the day before as needed. Avoid drinking it cold. Room temperature is recommended.
